Five students accused of creating disturbance in the hostel located in the new campus of Lucknow University last week have been suspended. All of them were accused of breaking the vehicles of the students living in the hostel and creating disturbance in the campus with sticks.
In this case, everyone was identified through CCTV installed in the hostel. Whereas Abhay Verma, a student of the same hostel, had also given a complaint against him to the police. After which a case was also registered against 12 people. In the order issued by the Chief Registrar of Lviv, third year BBA students Aman Yadav, Shivam Singh, Satyam Yadav, Abhimanyu Singh and Ujjwal Gautam have been suspended. Their hostel allotment has been canceled and entry into both the campuses has been restricted till the investigation period.
Along with this, all the suspended students have been instructed to present their side within three days of receiving the letter. If no arguments are given in defense during this period, disciplinary action will be initiated against them. According to the letter issued by the proctor, a complaint has also been received on the ragging portal of the University Grants Commission against the students who were suspended. In such a situation, all these students will remain suspended from the university till the investigation period.
